Nick Janßen studied Computer Engineering at the Leibniz University of Hanover from 2018 to 2024. He received his master's degree in 2024. His master's thesis focused on "Scale-based detection of prediction errors in segmentation data using conditional normalizing flows".

Since July 2024 he has been a member of Dr. Schaller's group and has been working towards his PhD at the Institute for Information Processing, focusing on state space models.
