Arne Ehlers studied Computer Science and Engineering at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). He wrote his diploma thesis "High Quality Image Zooming for Medical X-Ray Examinations" at Philips Medical Systems DMC GmbH.
Since 2010 he is working as a research assistant toward his PhD degree at the Institut für Informationsverarbeitung (TNT) / eNIFE Research Laboratory of the Leibniz Universität Hannover.
His research interests are object detection and machine learning in industrial and medical applications.
