General:

Mohit Jiwatode completed his M.Sc. in Smart Systems from Hochschule Furtwangen. During this time hegained expertise in the areas of reinforcement learning, machine learning, and control engineering. The master's thesis, completed at Schaeffler Group Buehl, focused on designing and executing a reinforcement learning approach for electric machine cooling in hybrid vehicles, which successfully reduced losses and maintained optimal temperature ranges for components. He has completed his bachelor's in Mechanical Engineerning from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), India.

Since, April 2023 he has been working towards his PhD at TNT.

• Causal Reinforcement Learning
• Efficient and interpretable Reinforcement Learning
• Possible industrial applications of RL especially in the fields related to Mechanical Engineering
