Andreas Tarnowsky graduated in Mathematics and Computer Science (Dipl.-Math.) at the Leibniz University of Hannover (LUH) in 2012. Currently he is involved in the DFG granted project "Tactile Displays for Virtual Reality Applications" where he works on the development of novel approaches for driving and controlling tactile displays. As a Ph.D. student he is particularly interested in computational models of touch and numerical methods for perceptional reconstruction of tactile stimuli.
